Doll wiggling

anher was sick Friday and yesterday, so, even though yesterday was our anniversary, we both pretty much did nothing the whole day. It was restful. I went out and picked up some Sudafed and dinner, both of which helped him recover. He's feeling much better today.

It's a lot cooler out! Sometime over the weekend, it just rained, and now all the excess heat is gone. Makes me happy.

anher has told me what he planned for tonight to celebrate our anniversary! We're going to see Jeff Dunham at a local comedy club. Coolness. Jeff Dunham is a ventriloquist with several puppets. Not really the sort of show you'd take a kid to, though.

We were talking last night. Six years married. Almost nine years together, total. We're both glad to keep making it together.

aefenglommung will be here on Tuesday. We'll take him out to The Green Oak that night, then do some local history stuff (Jamestown, Yorktown, something) on Wednesday. Certain areas of the house are getting some extra cleaning in anticipation. It may be embarrassing to show your friends a dirty house, but it's mortifying when it's your parents.

Still, looking forward to the visit!
