Christmas wishes

This is the post where I tell my friends and family what I actually want for Christmas. Thus, it's all about things I want.
I've done the annual clean out and update of my Amazon wish list: http://amzn.com/w/2J7LC55OFAXDQ
However, moving has taught me that we own TOO MANY THINGS, so this year I don't want many things, mostly experiences or consumables.
On the list: Gift Cards. Amazon is always a good choice for me, especially since I'm buying more books on the Kindle these days. Also, we live near a Whole Foods now, and a gift card for Whole Foods would give us permission to "splurge' on things we might not normally buy for ourselves (like a really good cut of wild salmon).
Memberships! I think you can gift Netflix these days, and I haven't yet reactivated my account but plan to soon! Also, Kansas City has a zoo which offers memberships and frequent kid-friendly events. It'll be a few months before I'm up to that much walking, but the membership is currently until March 2014, so it's more than a year's worth.
Good quality dark chocolate is never a bad gift for me, as long as you avoid coffee flavors. I'm eating 70% or better these days to help control my blood pressure and need an ounce a day for that purpose. (Incidentally, we live close to a Godiva Chocolatier, so there's another good gift card candidate.)
We have plenty of mugs at home, but I wouldn't mind another couple of travel mugs. They're useful when chasing around a toddler and needing to drink lots of water. You can get me some with
djinni's great art on it at his Zazzle shop here: http://www.zazzle.com/ninjahijinx+printed+mugs
(Check out his other products! He's got a huge store with lots of cute critters.)
Lastly, I'm really enjoying
haikujaguar's latest serial, Earthrise. If you want to give me a nice gift but can't afford much, please tip a few dollars into the fund! The more tips she gets, the more often she posts and the faster I get to read more! A few dollars at a time really speeds things along.
