The storm is past

alpharaposaThe storm last night was fierce! There was deadfall out back this morning; glad we have the new roof.
The cub wasn't bothered by it, though. He was happy this morning, kneeling by the table and banging away with a plastic lid. Well, up until he lost his balance and smacked into the table. Poor guy. He's got a nice bruise on his cheek, now, and needed some extra cuddles this morning.
On my way to work, there were two ducks out in the front yard. Don't know if they were blown off course or just taking shelter by the houses.
And there was a rainbow.
