alpharaposaWell, my cell phone went through the washer last night, so today we went and exercised my upgrade and purchased a new cell phone. Even with rebates and upgrade discount, it was a fair chunk of change. Ouch. I had been hoping to put that off a few more months, but things happen like that.

anher's words, "fragile" today. He's been pretty happy most of the time, but little things are upsetting him. anher sneezed and the cub immediately started to pout and tear up. He's also been sleeping kind of lightly, easy to disturb. I'm hoping it's just his tooth bothering him. Since he doesn't have a fever or any other signs of illness, that's the most likely explanation. The tooth hasn't come through yet, but it's waiting, visible under the gum. We'll see how long it takes to break through.
I'm trying to figure out time and strategy so I can write regularly again. I started putting down something I think would work well as a serial, if I can schedule the writing time. Would anybody out there be interested in a story of a shy elven clerk assigned to a human bank branch?

Date: 2011-01-24 03:45 am (UTC)Sounds like Daniel is cutting a tooth. Try some Ambusol (I think that is how you spell it.) It is the stuff that has a numbing agent to help ease mouth pain. Also, massaging his gums with a damp cloth after his evening meal, before putting him down for the night. That will start the routine of oral care that is so important. Of course you can massage his gums several times a day and that will make his gums stronger, so the tooth can cut through easier.
