The werecub was awake from 4:30 to 6:00 this morning. He pooped and I changed his diaper, but he didn't go right back to sleep like he normally does. No teeth yet. Websites suggest that this is actually normal, and that babies working on major milestones (like crawling) tend to wake up at night with the urge to try to move. Which is only partly reassuring. I want my sleep!
Speaking of crawling, for the past few days he's been getting his belly further and further off the floor. He's just about worked out how to get up into the starting position and can already squirm a short distance after a toy or new thing to hold, even if it's not proper crawling yet.
Going to Marscon this weekend, so I don't want to call in tired. I can tough out one day of work on kinda low sleep. Tomorrow, if it's bad, I'll nap on the way to the convention.
