Well, the werecub definitely does not like squash. It isn't just a matter of getting used to something new. (It took three meals of rice cereal for him to decide he really does like rice after all.) He really doesn't like squash.
Which is fine. We don't eat it often. The baby books recommend to give it a few weeks and try again. If he doesn't feel better about it then, I'll just chalk it up as a miss.
It was funny to see his reaction to the taste, though. A couple of days ago, I sat down with a bowlful of the squash and a bowlful of pears (he LOVES pears) and alternated spoonfuls. It was hilarious to watch. I think the only reason that the werecub kept going is because I was also eating squash (I had a bowlful of soup for myself).
I hope he feels better about broccoli. I actually really like eating broccoli.
