Werecub's one month checkup today. Length/height = 20 inches (51 cm), weight = 8 lb, 2.5 oz
Quite the grower, he is. The Zantac has helped a lot. The werecub still spits up after feedings, but he no longer cries, so it's keeping the acid at bay. Since he's gained so much weight, we've been told that it's okay to up the dose .1 mL if the current dose seems to be losing effectiveness.
The pediatrician told us that this is a peak period for gassiness as his tummy gets its good bacteria colonies and equilibrium is reached. He'll be back to more normal levels soon.
In the car on the way home:
"I'm glad to hear that the gassiness is just a passing thing.
*pause*
"I can't believe I just said that."
