alpharaposaWell, I'm at that state of a chest cold where my coughs sound like I'm about to spit up a lung and my husband asks if I'm alright.
It just means I'm past the noxious germy stage and into the long recovery stage. I have a little more energy this morning than yesterday, which tells me that the cold has loosened its grip.
One more visit from a contractor to give us a quote this evening, then we compare notes and pick one.

Date: 2010-04-07 04:41 pm (UTC)Protip: Call the local Small (or Petty, depending on your state) Claims Legal Advisory and ask if any of the contractors have been sued, and if so how often and if they won. If they've got a long stretch of lost cases behind them, cross them off. If they get sued and win (because people sue in order to get out of paying their bills) they're keepers.
