ninjahijinx did a free Icon day (with dragons too, this time) again. Someone else was offering free sketches.

I see things like that and wish that I could do something similar. It looks fun, and it's great to get inspiration from other people on things.

If I were to put up a post where you could request poems, would you? Would you enjoy somebody crafting a poem for you on the subject you wanted?

I've been thinking that it'd be fun to have people request a topic and a form (haiku, limerick, quatrain, sonnet), and then write to that. I'd probably place a maximum size of Sonnet or Rondeau.

Now I'm curious. Who are these mysterious people who have done this before?

I'm wondering if it would be better to post such a thing on a weekday or weekend. Hmm.

Weekends are incredibly slow... I always assume that people don't read on the weekends (and while it's not exactly true, the volume of replies is always much lower).
