The end of an era

The last part of Geocities closing down. No more free accounts, anymore.
The heck of it is, I can't just ftp the files; not on a free account. It seems like such a bother to upgrade to a paid account for 2 months just to grab it all, but I don't want to lose the work I have in that thing.
*gnar*
I've had this account with Geocities and then Yahoo! since 1997. I've had so many free upgrades over the years I've lost count, just for sticking with them as long as I have.
These days, my website is mostly a place to keep my resume, but it still has some interesting stuff tucked away about Scouting and other things.

(2) My cat is currently sitting on my web server. Want space?
