Having spent an entire month reading a little Kipling every day, I found myself sneaking back to the website to read more today.
Alert readers of the Twitter posts may have noticed I'm posting verses from the Bible most days. I will credit this to
haikujaguar, who suggested something of the sort one day when we were twittering back and forth about graces. It's been good for me. I don't start with a verse in mind, so I end up reading a chapter or so of the Bible, looking for one I want to post. I'm hovering in Romans right now, and it's not hard to find something quickly, but nearly impossible to find a sentence with only 140 characters! Paul could write, but he didn't write small.
For today, I picked a favorite verse, Romans 12:1-
I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. -KJV
aefenglommung is fond of quoting this one after a long day.
