It gets worse. Rural communities are banned from hunting foxes, while British soldiers are sent to grisly deaths in sub-standard equipment.

Um... yeah. About that little tidbit of animal welfare (which cost nothing and took barely any time once the people who hunted foxes strictly for trophy realized they were unpopular)... isn't this putting a straw man against a champion? "Remember our poor unarmored children getting blown to bits because another country couldn't hold its piss! And we can't terrorize and literally tear to pieces a few animals in our own nation anymore!"

But one example of several. This writer is writing to stir the pot, not explain what's in the stew.
