I don't get this Twitter thing. Are all these posts yours? They do not seem to follow any reason or continuation of a subject. If they include posts other people have made, there is no start or ending of what the conversation is about.

It puzzles me.

They're all mine. Twitter is a 'microblogging' system. You put posts of 140 characters or less up. I signed up with a service that collects the day's posts in one digest for livejournal at midnight. Each post has a time stamp next to it in military time.
