Sick Kitty update

The blood work came back, and indicated there might be a problem with Percy's liver. We're to watch the kitty tonight and see if he's eating, drinking, and using the litterbox, then call Sat morning first thing and tell the vet how he's doing.

It might be nothing, or it might be something.

Percy still was a normal temperature this morning and paying attention as I walked through the house, but he didn't move from the spot where he was napping. He did stretch and turn over a few times, but he stayed right where he was. He missed his morning feeding and was still sniffly. I guess he just wasn't hungry.

I hope it's nothing big.

Perhaps he caught your cold. They can do that, you know. Pippin and Fuji both were on prescription liver food. Maybe it's time Percy went on it. Praying for him and you two also.

Percy's already on prescription food to keep him from getting kidney stones.

I tried to give him some tuna. He was interested in it, but when he tried to sniff it, he just sniffled, and when he couldn't smell anything from it, he gave up and didn't eat any.

He's drinking water and using the bathroom, at least.

Still, he might have to go on the liver food. Does he like tomato-based people food? That would keep him from getting stones and then he could eat the liver food. Ask the vet.
