Fining little girls for sidewalk chalk

A while back, during the Olympics in China, somebody at The Corner was talking about the girl who sang but wasn't allowed to be seen (a 'prettier' girl lip-synced in her place). And he said something about how one of the terrible problems with Communist and totalitarian regimes is that they're mean to little girls.

I can't help but be reminded of that. But this is in New Jersey.

(I already never want to live in New Jersey, after discovering how quickly they'll slap a lien on property. Yeesh!)
