Good game

My only gripe is that neither team should've committed so many personal fouls. No excuse for losing your temper, even in a big game.

On the other hand, it was a really GOOD game. They both brought their 'A' games. The action kept up right until the end. There was a safety. A safety! I can't remember the last time I saw one of those.

The commercials were pretty good, too.

I didn't really set out to watch the game, but I did. It was pretty good. I remember several years ago that the Super Bowl was almost always a boring game. Not any more.

Watching them, I think the Steelers were simply the better team. The Cardinals looking like they were going to take it, for a while there, was the surprise.

As the announcers noted when the Steelers QB met a tackle with his throwing shoulder, it's the last game before the break, and both teams really did mean to leave it all on the field. And they did.
