political foo: Nays win on bailout

About 2/3 Republicans and 2/5 Democrats voted nay.
Myself, I know little about the economic fallout from this. What I do know is that the people who were supposed to prevent these problems are now the ones voting for this solution, and that the bailout, even with the amendments pushed into it, was a giant expansion of government power. Both of those are good reasons to be suspicious.
EDIT again: Striking the roll call. Seems to have been incorrect, and the Congressional website is not loading currently.
