Strawberries!

alpharaposaThere's a local Strawberry Festival this weekend! We didn't even know until yesterday, but we had a free day today, so went out to Pungo and strolled around for a few hours. We bought strawberry cream honey from a local beekeeper's association, some handmade soap from some booth, and a bunch of sugar-filled fair food. ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
anher got to indulge with a funnel cake, and I had a strawberry shortcake.
The 4-H showing was there. It was pretty small, but we went anyway and peered at cattle and bunnies and the occasional sheep. A member of 501st Legion (Imperial Stormtrooper) was there. All in all, it was an enjoyable three hours, and we'll have a fire in the firepit tonight to cook over.
