Relative values of tired

Remember how I complained about always being tired, back in February? Sleep 10-12 hours, wake up tired, spend all day tired, go to bed, repeat.
After a bit, I stopped using caffiene and sugar to stay awake on Fridays (for the game in Newport News), and just napped a bit in the afternoon. I'd bank extra sleep on top of the already ridiculous sleep, so I wouldn't have to gorge on stimulants and feel horrible afterwards when the sugar wore off. (I was getting stomach cramps and other icky things from the abuse I was giving my system. Not fun.)
Well, last Friday, we went to the game, and I felt good. It was evening, so I wasn't at top energy, but I felt better than I had in weeks at that time.
And one of the first things somebody said to me was, "You look tired."
It is a truth that, when you feel terrible, merely feeling bad is a relief. But to others, you still don't look good.
