Gay couple's divorce case back in lower R.I. court.
Louis Pulner, a lawyer for Chambers, said his client filed for divorce in Rhode Island because the couple never lived in Massachusetts and cannot bring a divorce case there.
Sigh.
A controversial sign outside a Central Florida Hooter's restaurant reading "plagiarism saves time" located near a school has been removed.
As if they needed encouragement.

(That Hooters is not far from where I live. I think I've been in there once, with friends, while waiting for other friends to go shoot pool in the place about 100 yards away.)

Date: 2007-01-19 06:30 pm (UTC)If we were a culture that really disapproved of plagiarism, it wouldn't take a complaint from a teacher to remove that sign. The patrons would simply stop showing up to the restaurant, and it would change or go out of business.
