Was going to meet some friends and offered to get together today during 'the day'. I said that the evening was probably unmanageable. Because I think of 'during the day' as sort of office business hours and everything after that as 'the evening', and they don't, they ended up thinking I was free to go meet up with them when I wasn't.

I think of the day as 8-5. I have had to adjust my thinking to include late afternoon as between 4-6. You know what, that's their problem.
