Feeling better, though still sick. I have moved past the sore throat and stuffy nose stage to the achy body stage. Aleve has helped.
While visiting relatives over Thanksgiving, we participated in a tree lighting and some singing. I enjoyed it a lot- my voice is still in fit shape, and my breath support is not atrocious. It would be nice to sing regularly again.
Grocery shopping tonight- we deliberately made sure not to have too many perishables in the fridge when we went to Harrisonburg, to avoid sour surprises when we got home. This means that we weren't very well stocked for me to be sick. At least there was some cup o'soup in the pantry, but that's gone too, now.

By your post it seems that you have experience in this area.
I commend you to finding a choir to join - it can be SO uplifting to be a member of a group that in practice and performance (worship) are praising God; He inhabits the praises of His people. It's also a great way to find shared interests fellowship.
Would that you will be well, and even weller as the days go on. Prayers for whatever you need.
