Political foo: just bizarre

I look at the stuff from these people and wonder what color the sky is in their world.
"All Soldiers and CIA agents and government officials who have been blackmailed or are in fear of the dictators"
This meme of soldiers being innocent children or helpless victims being made to go die by the big nasties is just surreal. One of the worst cases of it was probably when Cindy Sheehan said that she ought to have driven her son to Canada instead of letting him go back to Iraq.
Except her son volunteered for the armed forces, and even volunteered for the risky mission that got him killed. It takes a lot of mental gymnastics to mesh those facts with the idea that she could get him to go to Canada instead of reporting for duty. What, was she planning on drugging him or something?
But for those people who subscribe to this particular meme, even statements by the soldiers themselves simply roll off their backs.
