Still sick

Brian and I have been enjoying ourselves lately, but we're both still kind of blah. Me more than him, lately. I've been sleeping hard the past couple of days, and feeling vaguely zoned. I suspect this is due to poor quality sleep- not only the old issue of trying to sleep well on a mattress not designed for lumpy people (women), but also the fact that I don't breathe quite as easily right now.
We went out to see a movie yesterday, and another one today. Yesterday was planned and seen before we found out that a friend of ours was going to a movie today and decided to join him. A happy accident. Yesterday was Hoodwinked, and today was the new Underworld movie.
Hoodwinked was very good, in an odd sort of way. It wasn't extreme anything- not extremely gross, or stupid, or exciting, or hokey, or artsy. It was just a fun story done in a decent manner. It made a great change from the usual Hollywood efforts. It didn't demand much of anything. It still gave me ideas for role-playing games, but I think that's more because I'm me than any property of the movie itself.
Underworld Evolution was, well, artsy and dramatic and full of action scenes, with the oddly gratuitious sex scene (why? why was there such a scene in Matrix Reloaded? why have them?). It was cool. We watched it in a packed theater, which is an odd experience for me. I usually see movies after they've been out for a while. Hearing half the theater gasp or 'oooh!' at something was different.
Brian and I have at last obtained the Final Powerstrip and Final Adaptor needed to connect all our game consoles and TV items together. The gaming system is complete. Ignore the maniacal laughter.
