Another cooking thought...
Jan. 27th, 2009 07:53 amSince I started using the slow cooker, I have eaten more onions than in any time in my life. Two onions in this recipe, three in that one, two more in the next... they're everywhere! It seems that old-fashioned cooking is about 1/3 onions. O.O
At last, I begin to understand the panel in A Cartoon History of the Universe where one Greek asks another, "Don't you ever get tired of onions?" The reply: "Tired of food?"
