Political foo: a small rant

I was going to post a link about a zombie game featuring folks like Sarah Palin, Michelle Bachmann, and Newt Gingrich as zombies, etc. But I'm not.
Part of me doesn't want to provide more exposure. A lot of it is, I'm not sure what good it would do to even point it out. People like the folks who made that game don't see people like me as real people. We're zombies, or minions, or brainwashed cult-like sheeple. We don't have reasons for what we do, or a valid perspective that informs our choices.
If you're the kind of person who would be outraged by the game, then you're probably also willing to consider what I have to say. If you're the kind of person who thinks the game has a point, then you're probably not going to actually listen to anything I say. Sure, you might respond, but you'll be talking to the picture of me in your head, not to me.
So, what would I gain by pointing you to it, other than maybe sorting out who on my friends list actually considers my viewpoint valid?
Heck, I can guess that, already. I glanced at an LJ I don't normally look at, and spent 15 minutes grinding my teeth over the dismissal of my point of view as a cult. Yeah, nothing legit here, go about your business knowing that we're the creepy ones that don't need to be listened to. Who wouldn't want the government to take care of everything? Isn't that what it's for?
Gah. I still don't know how to break through that wall. There was a time when I thought that if I just found the right way to say what I meant, people would finally understand what I was saying. I'm over that, now. There are some people for whom I can never find the right words, because they won't even read them. They'll skim it over, identify me as one of the "zombies", and treat me like one.
