Living is the biggest adventure

alpharaposaWell, last night Percivale gave me a couple of good, bleeding scratches when I was giving him his pill. Then, just before bed, a wasp that had gotten in the house came out and stung me on the shoulder. ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
anher hunted down and killed the wasp while I stayed away (one sting is enough), but by then it was after bedtime.
Add to that the assorted tired and the minor aches and pains, and this just hasn't been my week.
Still, hope springs eternal, and we have a long weekend coming up. I will take a bath tonight with lovely lavender scented salts, and plan to bake cookies tomorrow. The husband got a Star Wars cookbook as a gift, and he wants to try out the "wookie cookies".
And there will be meat over a fire on Monday. I'm thinking brats or steak. Meat cooked outdoors goes a long way towards keeping werebears happy. And I think there will be some traditional summer fruit, like maybe a small watermelon or at least a cantaloupe.
