Relaxing with a good book

alpharaposaToday, I was seized by a powerful need to read a book.
There is a part of me that gets tired, and the only way to rest is to go find a book and sit down to read for a while. I tried re-reading some of the comic book collections I have, but then realized that I needed something with fewer pictures and more narrative.
And so, I am taking a rest by sitting down with some history. I've been doing lots of things that push my social boundaries at work, and I think some quiet time with words is just what I need.
Outside of a cat, a book is a man's best friend. Inside of a cat, it's too dark to read.
