So, our guild was trying to put together some premade* PvP groups for Alterac Valley**...
Unfortunately, the Alliance on our server had their stuff together, so our bunch got squished. So, we decided to hit a town instead. We all got together in a big raid, then went to Astranaar. After we wiped out Astranaar and took pictures, we went to Auberdine. Wipe, pictures, then on to Menethil! (We would have gone to Darnassus, except they would have expected that.) We cleared the keep in Menethil, then took the boat to Theramore. There, we penetrated to the top of the keep, and Jaina wiped us all out.
It was a blast and a half, especially for a spur-of-the-moment thing. All along the way, Alliance players watched us go, but only a handful were brave enough to flag for PvP and let us kill them. I would've liked to have been part of a group to take out one of the big raid bosses, but we just weren't prepared for one. That's fine. I got to fight my way into Theramore!
