alpharaposaBrian's been coughing the past week, and I would make concerned noises. He would say that it's probably the paint dust from work.
All well and good, except yesterday I felt lousy, and I started coughing. Today, we went out and gamed and I held up well, but I think I might have been running a mild fever. I definitely have a headache, but two Excedrin pushed that aside for a while.
I've had lots of soup yesterday and today. I feel less lousy, but still have a headache.
More rest, more liquids. Brian seems well recovered. pbtbtbt! I suspect another good night's sleep and a day or two of rest, and I'll also be fine.
It's all just part of life.
There is a certain specific kind of lousy that I feel when running a fever. It's probably as reliable an indicator as a thermometer- it's one thing that my body's been consistent on all my life.
