This must be a Thursday

I realize I haven't posted in a few days. Not much news. drewtiggy's surgery went well, and he's recovering with a litany of Thou Shalt Nots to obey for the next couple of weeks while things heal. We met up with him for lunch yesterday, and he bears the inconveniences gladly in exchange for no longer hurting all the time.

The cub has a cough. No fever, only a little runny nose, so I'm chalking this up to a cold or similar and keeping him in a shirt to keep his chest warm. The hubby tells me he took an extra long nap, today.

I had All the Small Things (Blink 182) as the main theme in my brain, today.

My place of work is across from a massage school. So, yesterday, work provided some of us with chair massages in exchange for tips (and certification hours). It was a lovely break. I wish I had been more in the habit of carrying cash, as all I had to tip was $5. I've had professional massages before (rarely), and while they felt nice, they weren't really all that special. The student who worked on me, however, did some really nice, deep work. It was much more relaxing than I had expected.

Maybe the problem is that previously, I had gotten massages while on vacation and already fairly relaxed..
