For what is lost
Jul. 31st, 2009 05:35 pmI lost a poem today. I was doing it a little of a time on notepad at work, and the power flickered three times, without warning.
I hadn't saved.
I was up to 34 out of 42 lines (three sonnets long!) and closing on the end.
There's no getting it back, and now I have to reset my brain to start fresh. Grr.
At least I have one poem at home that I'm still working on. That one should be ready tonight after a little polish.
So, this post is a little sigh for what was lost. *sigh*
