A little reflection

I'm a little disappointed, a lot resigned. I'm a bit concerned as to what message this sends our enemies, but mostly just getting ready for whatever comes next. I don't believe our salvation (in any sense) will come from any kind of government, good or bad, so I don't think the Democrats getting some power back is the end of the world.
It's no use speculating about what would have happened if the Republicans had held on. One of the hallmarks of adulthood is the ability to deal with life as it is now. The new crew doesn't get into office until January. Once they're settled, we'll see how they behave.
