As an entirely random thought, when I grew up back on the east coast, I noticed that Dick's and the supermarket Giant often shared strip malls, leading to the following unintentionally amusing banners:

Heh. When I lived in the Evansville area, there were a couple of stores right next to each other in a strip mall. They even shared the same advertising board by the road.
