Traditions of many kinds

anher did not grow up as a football fan (other than a Northern Virginia tendency to cheer for the Redskins). So, when I talk about various football traditions that I know of, he often gives me a somewhat blank look. Such was the case when I first mentioned the "Lambeau Leap".

And, the other day, we saw a shot of a bunch of Steeler fans waving around gold towels. This brought up the "Terrible Towel" tradition. While I knew about it, I was as clueless as anher as to its beginning or its meaning.

And I said, "I bet Wikipedia has an article on it."

Whaddya know, it does!

I guess I need a football icon or something.
