The IRS bites my bank account
Well, turns out that, with both of us working this year, we jumped a tax bracket. And ended up owing a large chunk of money.
Grr.
We had the funds to pay the whole wad out of pocket and choose to do so, rather than have extra fees and charges to go on a payment plan. But right now, I have no sympathy to any new government programs, new government spending, or arguments for the progressive tax system.
