Actually, teen pregnancies have gone down since abstinence education was introduced. (Note I'm not saying abstinence-only. Few programs, anywhere, only teach abstinence.)

The latest 'rise' in teen pregnancies isn't actually what most people think of in terms of teen pregnancies. It's a rise in 18 and 19 year olds who are out of high school. In a sane society, we would call them 'adults'.
